Emigrating to Spain, Portugal, Italy, or France is a big step. Besides arranging a home, a NIE number, or registering with the local municipality, your belongings also need to make the move. We guide you through this from the first plan to the last box in place, so you can focus on your fresh start.
What does your move look like?
Every emigration is different. Some people sell their house and take everything with them, while others deliberately start smaller and only take the most important items. Together, we’ll see what works best for you: a full household move, a partial move, or separate shipments that you send over time. Your car, boat, caravan, or bikes can also be included in the same plan.
Timing is everything
Emigrating rarely happens on its own: selling your house, canceling subscriptions, registering in your new country, everything needs to line up. That’s why we plan your move closely with you, so your stuff arrives exactly when you need it, not earlier and not later.
What should you arrange in advance?
Some things are for the customer to arrange, but we’re happy to help you think through it so you don’t forget anything. Think of:
- Your registration with the Dutch municipality and in your new country of residence
- Transferring your car to a foreign license plate if you take it with you
- Insurance that needs to be changed or moved
